Council and Committees

The Student Council is the main student body of UMIT. It aims to produce student leaders with the potential to embark on dynamic leadership roles involved in cultural activities, advising on rules and regulations, organization of events reinforcing teamwork and leadership.

It is an elected body whose objective lies in serving the college community by representing the students and has the responsibility of integrating academics and the co-curricular sphere of students life. Throughout the year, they conduct various cultural activities and consider every event as an opportunity to learn new skills. They organize the annual cultural festival 'Arcane Illusions', which has participation from colleges across Mumbai.

The core council leads all cultural activities and connects the administration with the students. The council strives to enhance the campus and cultural experience of the students.
